David takes pride in following organic farming practices on his farm. Where he does rotational grazing to help with preservation of land and maintain soil nutrients for livestock. He also bales his own hay for his livestock for the winter months.
David’s cattle are grass-finished meaning they eat nothing but grass and forage their entire lives. The difference between grass fed and grass finish is that livestock that is grass-finished the beef is packed with B vitamins and higher in vitamins A, E, Omega-3s and CLA’s (Conjugated Linoleic Acid- an essential fatty acid that helps fight cancer) opposed to grain-fed beef. It also contains remarkably lower levels of saturated fat compared to that of grain-fed beef.
